Lois Underwood – Business Manager
Our brilliant Business Manager, Lois, is the driving force that keeps the operational wheels turning smoothly behind the scenes. From overseeing finances and refining systems to supporting strategy and day-to-day operations, she ensures that Nanny Poppins runs like a well-oiled (and very friendly!) machine. Exceptionally organised and highly insightful, Lois has an incredible ability to anticipate needs before they arise and find smart, efficient solutions. Her calm leadership, attention to detail, and genuine care for both the team and the business make a huge difference to how seamlessly everything runs. Larissa Mendes – Head of Placements
Larissa is the heart of our placements team and plays a vital role in matching the right families with the right nannies. With a calm, thoughtful approach and a genuine understanding of both client and candidate needs, she ensures every placement is handled with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. Larissa is highly organised, solution-focused, and deeply committed to creating long-term, successful relationships. Her warm communication style and dedication to excellence make her an invaluable support to our families and nannies alike, and a key part of what makes our agency so trusted.
Mila Rodrigues Jorge – Placement Coordinator
Mila is one of our dedicated Placement Coordinators and brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to her role. She holds a Master’s degree in Child Psychotherapy and previously worked as a nanny, giving her a strong professional and practical understanding of children’s emotional, developmental, and day-to-day needs. As an amazing mother of four, Mila combines academic expertise with real-life parenting experience, empathy, and warmth. She has a natural ability to truly understand both families and nannies, guiding each placement with care, insight, and sensitivity. Mila’s thoughtful approach and deep commitment to children’s wellbeing make her an invaluable part of the Nanny Poppins team.
